HB: …coming to talk to you about something very, very important. Consider it a Southern Gothic community public service announcement. This weekend on Sunday our blog will be going dark for a short period of time, and now we don’t want anyone to get upset about this. Our reasoning for it is that we’re getting ready to launch the most spectacular of all websites. Right, Nick?
NG: Dazzling.
HB: Dazzling! It’s gonna be dynamic entertainment! All the time! All for you! But in order to do that we have to go dark on our blog to make sure that we can pull off all the information, all of the messages you guys have left us, all the blogs that we’ve posted, and all the videos we’ve posted for you and put those on our new website. So, we want to give you guys just a couple quick instructions so nothing goes awry this Sunday. Step number one: Don’t freak out.
NG: Is this real life?! Ahh!!
HB: Oh, man! Two: find a buddy. [Nick hugs Hilarie and they cuddle] Like this one. Aw, you’re so cozy. And rule number three: find something to distract yourself. Like what? Volunteer at an old folks home! They bite, be careful.
NG: [grabs a newspaper] Or a newspaper!
HB: Oh, yes, read the newspaper. Or perhaps, write a song about Southern Gothic Productions, and then play it for us next week when we are back up and running. So, have a lovely lovely weekend. We will miss you dearly! Please write us and tell us what you did to distract yourself. We’ll see you next week, folks.
